Mr. Thomas Eugene Sprayberry, age 77, of Aragon and formerly of Chickamauga, GA passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021.
Mr. Sprayberry was born on April 7, 1944 to his late parents: Ray Sprayberry and Ruby Parham Sprayberry.
Thomas spent the greater part of his life in Chickamauga and attended Gordon Lee High School and was active in football. In his free time he enjoyed going fishing and golfing. He was Baptist by faith and a proud veteran of The United States Marine Corp.
Mr. Sprayberry was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Arlene Sprayberry, brothers: Dennis and Mickey Sprayberry and sister, Patricia Snodgrass.
Mr. Sprayberry is survived by his loving daughter, Kelly England and her husband, Darryl, grandchildren: Haleigh Miller and her husband, Chet, Ansleigh England, Kayley Tracy and her husband, Alex, Breanna McAtee and her husband, Michael, Toni England, Jeff Sprayberry, Elizabeth Carroll, one great-granddaughter, Victoria Sprayberry, brothers: Lebron Sprayberry and his wife, Mary, James Sprayberry and his wife, Georgia, sisters: Kathy Stose, Janie Teeters, Martha Brown and her husband, Earl and Myra Sue Bradley, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Mr. Sprayberry’s wishes, his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
