Mrs. Tina Lynn Powell Dunn, age 60, of Aragon, GA, passed away Sunday morning, April 21, 2024, at her residence.
Tina was born in Rockmart, GA, on October 24, 1963, a daughter of the late David Wilson Powell and Betty Jean Summerville Powell.
She had lived all her life in Polk County and was of the Baptist faith. Tina was a Certified Nursing Assistant with Cedar Valley Nursing Home, and was a very selfless person, looking out for and caring for others.
She was a very sociable person who never met a stranger. Tina cherished the time she got to spend with family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Tina was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa McDowell, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Vernon and Helen Dunn.
Tina is survived by her husband, Thomas “Danny” Dunn, whom she married November 4, 1983; three sons, Lee (Kimberly) Lowery, Gene Dunn, and Weasel (Heather) Dunn; sixteen grandchildren; sister, Rhonda (Jeff) Boatner; brother, Danny Wayne Powell. Five nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life for Tina will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Dunn officiating.
Tina’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
