Mr. Darryl Lines, age 61, of Buchanan, Georgia, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024.
Mr. Lines was born July 15, 1962, in Portsmouth, Virginia, son of Robert “Bob” Lines, Jr. and Bernice Lines.
Mr. Lines loved all sports and afternoons spent fishing. He enjoyed going bowling with friends and family. Mr. Lines was a man of consistency, having spent thirty-one years in the steel department at HON Industries.
He had a special way of storytelling that made everyone want to listen. Mr. Lines loved his family and his presence will be missed in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Lines is survived by his loving wife of twenty-four years, Mrs. Phyllis Lines; parents, Mr. Robert “Bob” Lines, Jr. and Mrs. Bernice Lines; son, Kenneth Lines; daughter, Jenifer Garrett; four grandchildren and one greatgrandchild who he dearly loved; siblings, Robert “Rob” Lines, III; sister, Brenda Erickson; and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Lines will be cremated, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
