Temperatures are just right, the sun is shining and the breeze is keeping the bugs at bay.
All the ingredients of a perfect picnic.
One local family took that opportunity on Thursday afternoon as Dakota and Shara (sorry, I didn’t stop to ask for the spelling) grabbed the baby and dog for lunch outdoors at Peek Park.
Picnic weather will remain in effect through the rest of the week and into the weekend. The National Weather Service is calling for sunshine with spotty clouds and highs into the low 80s through the start of the coming week as April is wrapping up.
So consider packing up a sandwich, something to drink and a blanket and get outdoors this weekend with the family for a meal.
