A reminder to participants who want to take part in Youth Summerfest: make sure that you have gotten permission slips in for participation if you haven’t already.

Children must provide a signed “Youth Summerfest/Christmas in July Vehicle Consent to Ride Release Form” by a Parent/Guardian to get on the van. Children will not be allowed to get on the van or bus without this document.

Buses will pick up at the following locations: Aragon Police Department by the park, Hogue Avenue Gym (Skateboard park in front of gym) in Rockmart. In Cedartown, vans will pick up on Canal Street, Marietta Street, Queen Street, and Turner Street.

Riders need to be at those locations between 8 and 8:15 a.m. No transportation will be available after 8:45 a.m. If anyone needs a Youth Summerfest/Christmas in July Vehicle Consent to Ride Release Form please contact Courtney Ripoll at 770-689-7838.

The Youth Summerfest Church Olympics/Stockings of Love back to school event will be held on Saturday, July 30 from 9 AM until 1 PM.

This event welcomes anyone from Pre-K through 12th grade, and kicks off at 9 AM with the Youth Summerfest Church Olympics. At 10 AM, there will be inflatables and games for the kids to enjoy, followed by lunch at 11 AM.

There will also be free haircuts for kids, food bags, clothing, and more. At 12:30 PM, free backpacks and school supplies will also be available (while supplies last).

The event will be held at the Bert Wood Complex in Northwest Park, located at 605 Lynton Drive in Cedartown.
