An annual event providing youth with items they’ll need in the classroom returns ahead of the school year, and organizers are getting ready now for the big event later this summer.
For now, those who are willing to volunteer their time to help youth are asked to participate in the 23rd annual Youth Summerfest/Christmas in July Stockings of Love organizing meeting being held next Saturday, June 5 starting at 9 a.m. at the Bert Wood Youth and Athletic Complex (Northwest Park) in Cedartown at 605 Lynton Drive.
Youth Summerfest will be held on Saturday, July 31 just ahead of the start of the school year.
Potential volunteers are requested to please attend this session to participate.
