Mr. Tony Ray Goss, Sr., age 53, of Summerville, GA and formerly of Rockmart passed away at his residence following an extended illness.
Tony was born in Rockmart on May 15, 1970 a son of James Ray Goss and Janice Earwood Goss.
He had lived the greater part of his life in the Rockmart-Aragon area before moving to Summerville. Tony was of the Baptist faith and he was a self employed auto mechanic. His hobbies included shooting pool and fishing.
Tony was preceded in death by his father Ray Goss.
Survivors include his mother, Janice Brookover (David); daughter, Ashlei Latimer (Jake); three sons: Tony Ray Goss, Jr., Noah James Goss (Morgan) and Adam Ray Goss; companion, Janice Hankins; five grandchildren; brother, Scottie Goss (Crystal); two sisters: Brandy Goss (Taylor Bates) and Stephanie Brookover. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Jack Goss officiating. Interment will follow in the Aragon Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include: Adam, Noah, Scottie, T.J. and Brandy Goss and Eric Pike.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
