Ms. Susan Marie Bennett, age 65, lifelong resident of Rockmart , GA, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
Susan was born on June 18, 1958 in Rockmart, GA, and was the daughter of the late Dr. Harold Hardeman Moore and Minnie Caldwell Moore.
Ms. Bennett was a Rockmart High School graduate. She was a member of Rockmart Church of Christ and was the owner of a nail salon for many years.
Survivors include her son, Kyle Pinkard; daughter, Kalee Bennett; grandchildren: Kenleigh, Brooklyn, Emily, Lyndon, Elijah, Skylar, Whitney and Hunter; brothers: Kenneth Moore and David Moore and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Ms. Bennett will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 4:00 PM in the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jonathan Blackmon officiating and a eulogy given by her son, Kyle Pinkard. Interment will follow the service at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Eric Bennett, Danny Rittenhouse, Eddie Jimenez, Adam Wagoner, Craig Payton, Dan Moore, Jed Moore and Gabe Moore. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Elijah Shiflett and Mr. Hunter Russell.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 2:00 PM until the service begins.
