Mrs. Shirley Ann Easterwood Parish, age 77 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023.
She was born on June 28, 1945 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Mary Jo Easterwood Ealy.
Mrs. Parish was a dedicated and lifelong member of the Cedartown Church of God. She retired from Arrow Shirt Company after 25 years of service.
Mrs. Parish is survived by her sons, Darin Parish and Jeff Parish (Dana); sister, Jean Laughman; aunt, Martha Bowman; daughter-in-law of 35 years, Lori Norris; grandchildren, Holly Dye (Adam), Jon Parish (Bree), Dylan Parish (Kelsey), Hunter Parish and Luke Perry; great-grandchildren, Emily, Adam, Aaron, Hayden, Eli, Piper and Willie; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Parish is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 52 years, Doyal Jacob Parish.
In keeping with Mrs. Parish’s wishes’ she was cremated. A memorial service for Mrs. Parish will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at six o’clock in the evening at Cedartown Church of God with Rev. Justin Grant and Rev. Trey Chambers officiating.
The family of Mrs. Parish will receive family and friends on Friday, June 30, 2023 from five o’clock in the evening until the memorial service hour at the church.
The family has respectfully requested that floral donation are to be omitted and donations can be made to the Cedartown Church of God Children’s Ministry.
