Mr. Ryan Christopher Griffin, age 37, passed away, Saturday, September 16, 2023.
Ryan was born December 19, 1985, in Stockbridge, Georgia, son of Darrell Griffin and the late Kathy Griffin.
Ryan lived the greater part of his life here in Cedartown. He was a very dynamic person with many hobbies and talents, such as woodworking, painting, fishing, and working with his hands. He enjoyed computers and riding motorcycles. Ryan was a lot of fun to be around and always had a good time.
In his school days, he was referred to as the class clown. He was a gentle person with a love for animals. Above all, he cherished time with his son, family, and friends.
In addition to his mother, Ryan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jean Damer, and grandfather, Harvey Leroy Griffin, Sr.
Ryan is survived by his son, Tristan Conley; father, Darrell Griffin and his wife, Patti, of Cedartown; two brothers, Casey Wayne Griffin, of Dunwoody, and Dustin Clint Griffin and his wife, Leanne of McDonough; two stepbrothers, Brandon Sadler, of Cedartown, and Billy Sadler, of Addison, Alabama; and stepsister, Lacey Hobbs and her husband, Craig, of Rome. Additionally, he is survived by his grandmother, Betty Mae Crane, and Pappa Frank, of Smyrna, and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held, Tuesday, September 19, 2023, in the chapel of the Smith & Miller Funeral Home, at 6:00 in the evening, with Reverend Roger Paris, Brother Chuck Graves, and Pastor Danny Rhodes officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 4:00 PM until the service hour, at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.
