Charles Gregory Mitchell, age 61 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021.
Greg was born February 4, 1959 in Floyd County to Horton & Helen Turner Mitchell. Greg worked most of his life as a truck driver for Southeastern, and later working on his farm raising cattle. Greg was preceded in death by his father Horton Mitchell.
Surviving are his wife Joan Casey Mitchell, Mother Helen Turner Mitchell, sons Greg & Jennifer Mitchell Jr. and Kyle Mitchell, daughter Jessica Bozeman, sister Diane & Hamp Alexander, three grandchildren Jackson Bozeman, Jacklynn Bozeman & Charles Gregory Mitchell III, nephews Trey Alexander and Phillip Alexander.
The family will receive friend & family Saturday February 6, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the Lime Branch Baptist Church and a graveside services will be held Saturday February 6, 2021 following the visitation at the Lime Branch Cemetery with Rev. Brian Crisp and Rev. Roger Kiser officiating.
