Ms. Melinda Sue Adams, age 50, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020. She was born on January 22, 1970 in Rome, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Van Adams and Sandra Sue Hardin Watson.
Ms. Adams is survived by her daughter, Katrina Melinda Ploof-Allen (James Allen); sons, Levi Adams and Caleb Ploof (Gabby); brothers, Michael Adams and Donald Adams; six grandchildren, Kaily, Julie, Harper, Isabella, Andrew and Khalei. Several nieces, nephews and other extended family also survive.
Ms. Adams is preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Buford Watson; and sister, Melissa Tubb.
The funeral arrangements for Ms. Melinda Sue Adams will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at one o’clock in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Benefield officiating.
The family of Ms. Adams will receive family and friends on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from eleven o’clock in the morning until the service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Levi Adams, Benjamin Garcia, Brad Bowman, Aaron Tubb, Bryan Dobson, Tyler Hobberchalk, Will Hobberchalk, and Dee Pruitt. Brad Ricks will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
In accordance with the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the CDC, social distancing guidelines will be in place as well as the use of masks are required for all services provided for Ms. Melinda Adams.
