Keith Eugene Foster

A Browning Road man with a past wrap sheet as a stalker was back in custody on the same charge after his arrest in Haralson County.

Keith Eugene Foster, 56, of 2470 Browning Road, Rockmart, was taken back into custody after being released on a good behavior bond in Haralson County on charges levied by Polk County Police.

According to reports, Foster is reported to have sent unwanted text messages and made phone calls to a Rockmart-area woman who did not know who he was.

Foster was also cited by police on March 17 for driving onto a Browning Road property without consent, and was issued a Criminal Trespass warning.

He has a history of this behavior.

In 2019, Polk County Police ultimately found Foster following a three-day manhunt after he was then accused of stalking three people in the Rockmart area, and according to previous reporting he had been convicted of stalking charges in Bartow, Haralson and Paulding counties 10 different times.

He also was previously tried for a 1997 Cobb County murder, but was found not guilty by the jury in that case.

Foster was reportedly back into the free world after serving prison time for his 2019 crimes. Information via the Haralson County Sheriff’s Office about his arrest there was not immediately available online.

Bond was denied for the charges he now faces in Polk County, both misdemeanors.
