Mr. Leonard Brooks, 75, of Cartersville, Ga., passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Mr. Brooks was born on March 26, 1948, to the late Jess and Alice Brooks.
Mr. Brooks was a member of South Broad Baptist Church. Leonard loved walking, fishing, and doing anything outside.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his brothers Johnny Brooks, Franklin Brooks, Joe Brooks, Fred Brooks, and sister Patricia Bell.
Mr. Brooks is survived by his sons Chris Brooks (Esther) and Russell Brooks (Tracy); brother Terry Lee Brooks; sister Bessie Pledger; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive Mr. Brooks.
A graveside service will be held Friday, August 18, 2023, at two o’clock in the afternoon at Greenwood Cemetery in Cedartown, GA., with his son Chris Brooks Speaking.
