Polk County Police investigators are asking for help from the public in tracking down who might be responsible for items taken from vehicles in late July.
Officials posted on the PCPD Facebook Page today a video available below showing a vehicle pull in a parking lot after hours at a Prospect Road apartment they believe is involved in vehicle break-ins near the end of July.
Detective Wilkes with the Polk County Police Department added some additional details about the incident when contacted this afternoon.
Wilkes said the incident involved at least two separate break-ins into vehicles on Prospect Road and Long Station Road starting between 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26 and early Thursday morning, July 27 at 2 a.m. Only credit cards and “some other items” were reported missing from the vehicles.
