The Polk County Chamber of Commerce is set to host two candidate forums ahead of this year’s primaries.
The Chamber announced on Tuesday that the dates are set and a forum will be hosted in Cedartown and Rockmart for the 2024 May primary elections, which will determine several of the races on the ballot for local officials.
Candidates will be gathering in Cedartown on Tuesday evening, April 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cedartown Performing Arts Center to host the first round of forums.
Rockmart’s forum is set for Thursday evening, April 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. The Rockmart Theatre will be hosting the second forum this year.
All candidates have been invited to participate in both forums this year.
Additional information will be forthcoming about submitting candidate questions online to the Chamber for consideration.
