The 58th annual Cedar Valley Arts Festival returns to Peek Park in Cedartown this weekend, including all the fanfare of races, car shows, and more for the annual fundraising event for the Cedartown Junior Service League.

Saturday and Sunday, vendors will be setup in Peek Park following the opening 5K/10K Road Race that begins at 8 a.m.

Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Cedar Valley Arts Festival 5K/10K Road Race kicks off the annual event and supports the Junior Service League. Those who want to run still have the opportunity to sign up here for the 8 a.m. race on Saturday, April 29.

The car show will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday as well. Those who want to participate can pay $20 to take part, and cars can start showing up at 8 a.m. Contact Donnie McKibben at 770-546-8965 for more information.

The Sunday, April 30 Dog Show begins at 2 p.m. in the Park, and includes a variety of categories pups can place in. There is a $5 entry fee per dog, and registration begins at 1:15 p.m.

The CVAF Facebook page didn’t have a full list of vendors yet, but they have listed the annual art show winners from contributions from local schools that will be on display on the Peek Park Tennis Courts.

The Cedartown Junior Service League is a non-profit organization that supports children and families of Polk County, providing help to worthwhile organizations in the county through fundraising and this festival.
