Bruce Carlton Cason, age 62, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2023.
Bruce was born in Rockmart on August 27, 1961, son of the late Bobby Cason and Glenda Faye Spivey Cason.
He was a self-employed lawn mower repairman and also loved to work on cars. “Uncle Bubba”, as he was known to family, was an avid NASCAR fan (both Earnhardts) and enjoyed watching wrestling. He was a kind and loving man who loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Sondra Michelle Hulsey Cason, on March 17, 2018, whom he married June 16, 1983.
Bruce is survived by two daughters, Patrina Cason and Teaka Cason, both of Rockmart; four grandchildren, Brooklyn Jones, Austin Jones, Hailey Jones, and Raelynn Jones; one granddaughter, Everly Huber; three sisters, Darlene Byrd of Ellijay, GA, Robyn Locklear of Marietta, GA, and Annette Locklear of Cedartown, GA; two brothers, Michael Sinclair of Dallas, GA, and Chris Hopkins of Breman, GA. Bruce was anticipating the arrival of another grandson Kingston Hudson, in January of next year. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Gathering of Friends for Bruce will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
