Local businesses can join in one of two breakfast dates being held next week thanks to a joint effort to show appreciation for their efforts toward bettering Polk County on May 4 and May 5 in Rockmart and Cedartown.
The Depot at Richardson Field will host businesses on the morning of May 4 in Rockmart and Aragon, and in Cedartown at the Cedartown Welcome Center and Depot on May 5 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. each day.
The effort is being held for Small Business Appreciation Week, which is coming up through the first week of May.
The Development Authority of Polk County, The Polk County Chamber of Commerce and Floyd Polk Medical Center are all working together to make the breakfasts possible next week.
Those interested in participating are asked to RSVP by this Friday, April 30 to either april@choosepolk.com or mwood@polkgeorgia.com.
Breakfast each day is being sponsored by Floyd Polk Medical Center.
