The City of Cedartown’s upcoming Boo Bash is getting a location change for 2023, but nothing else has changed for the latest edition of the annual spooky event coming up next weekend.
Put October 28 on the calendar for the 2023 Boo Bash being held at Biggers Field in Cedartown as the city puts on a Halloween celebration from 4 to 7 p.m.
Usually held at the Bert Wood Youth and Athletic Complex, the event this year is being moved in order to accommodate a softball tournament happening on the same day.
“City officials wanted to make sure everyone headed to the Boo Bash had ample parking and room to roam,” the city said in a statement.
The free kid-focused event includes the Halloween Costume Contest set to start at 5 p.m.
A variety of fair-style games will also be spread around Biggers Field for youth to enjoy, and a number of local organizations are participating with booths to give out candy.
