Lt. Col. Deuward S. Waldrep ll, age 85, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at home. Deuward was born April 14, 1939.
He retired from the Army after 32 years of service. He was most proud of serving his country for that time. His last assignment was Hq. Southern Command, Quarry Heights, Panama. He served in the engineering department and, armor and military intel. He was very patriotic and was always proud of his country.
Preceding Lt. Col. Waldrep are his parents Mr. Deuward S. and Mrs. Lavonia Lee Waldrep.
Surviving is his loving wife Jean Waldrep.
A visitation will be held Monday, April 22, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Litesey Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held immediately following the visitation at Greenwood Cemetery with Mr. Tony Brazier officiating and military honors conducted by Brown-Wright Post 12 .
