Mr. Bobby Joe Roberson, age 72, of Cedartown, GA., passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
Mr. Roberson was born March 24, 1951, to the late William Roberson and the late Martha Ely Roberson.
Mr. Roberson married the love of his life, Mrs. Judy Roberson and retired from Kellogg in Rome, GA.
In his spare time, he was known as an avid sports fan and could frequently be found watching tennis matches. Mr. Roberson also had an interest in investigation shows, car shows, and loved nothing more than spending time with his granddaughter, Madelynn.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Roberson is preceded in death by his sister, Retha Sisson; brother, Donald Roberson; mother-in-law, Ina Roberson; and brothers-in-law, Leon and Lonzo Roberson.
Mr. Roberson is survived by his loving wife of many years, Judy L. Roberson; son, Anthony J. Roberson; granddaughter, Madelynn Roberson; brother, William Roberson (Pat); sisters-in-law, Ruth Pike and Be Roberson; daughter-in-law, Allie Roberson; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Roberson will be conducted Saturday October 28, 2023 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Mr. Jerry Deems officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday October 28 from 10:30 AM until the service hour at 12:00 PM. In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Roberson will be cremated following the funeral service.
