Mrs. Betty Ruth Langston Rogers, age 89 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023.
She was born on October 3, 1933 in Piedmont, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Shelton and Trudie Olean Word Langston.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by her daughters, Angela Singleton (Chris) and Bailey Langston; son, Wayne Rogers; grandchildren, Adam Rogers, Eboney Reese, Adrian Ervin, and Jesse Beard; great-grandchildren, Amos Rogers, Amelia Rogers, and Mila Reimer; nieces, Tammy Martin (Tim), Regina Jones (Joe), and Donna Mosley; and nephew, Jimmy Langston (Missy).
Mrs. Rogers is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James (Bud) Rogers; sister, Jeanette Cheeks and brothers, Herschel Langston and Curtis Langston.
The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Rogers will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at two o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Rogers will receive family and friends on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from six o’clock in the evening until eight o’clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jimmy Langston, Joe Jones, Stacy Carver, Eric Rogers, Carl Redding and Barry Smart. Honorary pallbearers will be Adrian Ervin, Tim Martin, Kyle Mosley, Adam Rogers, Robert Puckett, and Frankie Waits.
