UPDATE: This story has been edited to clarify that the meeting has been rescheduled to October 5.
City Clerk Kim Allen informed Polk Today following the initial scheduling report of a late September date that required advertisement for the budget vote pushed the meeting reschedule date to October 5.

The Aragon City Council will have to take a short break from their normal schedule tonight due to an unexpected illness.
The Council will have to postpone their meeting this evening that was scheduled for a 6 p.m. Work Session and a 7 p.m. Regular Session for September 21 due to a lack of a quorum. One of the council members is unable to attend due to an illness, and with only two members remaining there are not enough to be able to hold the meeting.
City officials have rescheduled tonight’s session for next Thursday, September 28 October 5, 2023 at the same times.
