Mr. Walter “Bud” Radford, age 84, of Centre, AL, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
Mr. Radford was born in Cordele, GA, on May 18, 1939. He was a former resident of Dalton, Forest Park and Douglasville prior to moving to Alabama.
He was a 55-year member of the Forest Park Lodge #399 F&AM. Mr. Radford worked for a number of years with Americold Logistics prior to retirement. He enjoyed fishing, working in his yard and collecting coins.
Mr. Radford was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Mae Teems Radford, and a son-in-law, Larry Garmon.
Mr. Radford is survived by two daughters, Shanda “Sandy” Garmon, and Bobbie (Greg) Williams; granddaughter, Amanda Williams.
Funeral services for Mr. Radford will be Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Benjamin “Butch” Tant officiating. Interment will follow in Aragon Cemetery.
Mr. Radford’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
