Mrs. Susan Stringer, age 65, of Rockmart, GA passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 in Murphy, NC.
She was born in Rockmart, GA on January 3, 1958, a daughter of the late Horace Junior Goddard and Betty Ann Hulsey. Susan had lived the greater part of her life in Rockmart and she enjoyed dancing, shopping, going to flea markets, and the Huddle House. Susan was a Christian woman who loved life.
In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her son, Sammy Arp; and brother, Jimmy Goddard.
Survivors include her husband, Jo Stringer; daughter, Kristy White; three grandchildren, Brandon White, Brooke White, and Bella White.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
