Mark those calendars and bring out your child for Summer Fun Day at One Door Polk on June 22.

The event is being hosted by Polk Family Connection and includes help from Primary Healthcare Centers and others to bring together a variety of opportunities to help local youth and for families to have a good time.

Community leaders will be joining the event as well to read to local youth, school supplies are being handed out, a carnival with free games and prizes, and a health fair and literacy fair are being held together during the June 22 event starting at 10 a.m.

The literacy fair will continue until 2 p.m.

A Health fair put on by Primary Healthcare and includes free hearing, vision and dental screenings and immunizations for youth is being held from 3 to 6 p.m. just around the corner from the front of One Door Polk.
