Today is one of two mandatory Saturday early voting opportunities for Polk County residents who want to participate in the process, but don’t have a chance to go to the polls during the week.

Ballots can be cast starting at 9 a.m. at the Goodyear Civic Center on Prior Street in Cedartown or the Nathan Dean Community Center on Goodyear Avenue in Rockmart until 5 p.m.

Polls will also be open next Saturday, October 28 in Cedartown and Rockmart as well for the same times.

Make sure to bring a valid state-issued photo identification and your registration is up to date before heading to the polls. Need help with that? Look up info here.

The first week of early voting for local elections in the Rockmart Mayors Race, the Aragon City Council and Mayors races, and the SPLOST extension countywide wrapped up on Friday.

Election Day is November 7, 2023.

Two more weeks of early voting remain starting on Monday, and continuing through Friday, November 3.

Check back for updated figures on early voting here on Polktoday.com throughout the coming weeks.
