Georgia’s Young Farmers have a lot of old timers to look up to with generations of experience across the state, but just one is being honored this year for his longtime service to the community.

During a state event over the weekend, local farmer and advocate for agriculture Glenn Robinson was honored as the State Outstanding Member for 2025 by the Georgia Young Farmers Association.

Robinson, who operates a cattle farm on several acres land in the county, continues his work toward encouraging new generations of farmers with the campaign to build an agriculture center in the Fish Creek area as a multi-use facility.

The award was presented to Robinson during the State Convention held on Jekyll Island over the weekend.
