Robert Charles Quick, age 60, passed away on February 15, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Quick was born in Rome, Georgia on August 24,1962 to the late Billy Joe Quick and Eulene Knowles Quick. He was a loving husband and father and loved spending time with his family.
Robert was married to the love of his life Sarah Jones Quick for 27 years. He was a hard worker and worked 33 years for Floyd County Public Works and 8 years for The City of Rome in the Road Works Department where he retired after many years of service.
Mr. Quick enjoyed C.B radios, and his C.B. handles were, Tar baby, and Nighthawk! He loved his Fur babies, Miley, Toby and Bobo. He also enjoyed Beekeeping, raising chickens, seal coating, and classic cars. Mr. Quick attended, East Rome and Pepperell High Schools.
He was preceded in death by his parents Billy Joe Quick and Eulene Knowles Quick
He is survived by his wife Sarah Jones Quick, his son and daughter-in-law, Tyler (Samantha) Quick, three daughters; Laura (Bradley) Hooper, Haley and Kenzie Quick; two granddaughters; Blaire and Remi Quick; one grandson; Wyatt Quick, two sisters; Denise Quick and Donna (John) Harris; two brothers; Ritchie Quick and Barry (Allison) Quick.
Pallbearers will include Steven Forsythe, Ben Harris, Dan Knowles, Ethan Cole, Jonathan Knowles and Kyle Lackey.
The family will hold a visitation at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel for family and friends on Monday, February 20, 2023, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, with a funeral service at 3:00 PM with Rev. Tim East officiating following Interment at East View Cemetery.
