A woman was booked on Monday on a felony charge after being accused of stealing a truckload of items from a home back in March, according to reports.
Per the Polk County Police, Chevy Ann Couzzort, 45, of a Rockmart address, was arrested on Monday evening, April 3, 2023 on a single felony charge of burglary in the first degree.
She’s accused of the theft of multiple items on March 10, 2023 after the victim reported to police that she arrived at her Rockmart-area home and found Couzzort (who called herself by another name) and an unidentified man had loaded up a Chevrolet pickup with multiple items including an “old bike, iron skillets, brass fishing pole holder, plant stand, and an
eight foot folding ladder.”
The victim got the tag number, and were able to report it to police. Further investigation ultimately ended with the arrest of Couzzort.
She remained in the Polk County Jail as of this post on a $10,000 bond.
