There’s lots of things that just don’t feel right without having them on the Fabulous Fourth. Fireworks, cold beverages, family and of course: grilled hot dogs.

Aragon Police and Public Works officials will be out to cover that part of the day on Tuesday for their first-ever Hot Dog fundraiser. Donations are being accepted during the event to help purchase school supplies for a giveaway at summer’s end, and for purchasing gifts during the annual holiday event at City Hall.

The grills will be going tomorrow, July 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. provide hot dogs for the community free of charge at Pittman Field. During the event, they are asking participants to bring school supplies for a back to school event later this summer.

Those interested can stop by Pittman Field. Donations ahead of time can always be made to Aragon PD. Contact Chief Julie Collins at City Hall at 770-684-6563 at extension 150.
