Polk County Police made a return to posting on their Facebook page this morning with a note about two suspects jailed after one was running from the law in Indiana, and his girlfriend was helping him to elude capture.

Officers arrested 27-year-old Bradley Hamilton and 24-year-old Brittany Causey, both of Indiana addresses, after they were found at a Russell Street address in Cedartown.

Per the posting from PCPD, officers got information that both Hamilton and Causey were in town and planning to leave today from the address. They were taken into custody without incident on Wednesday, July 12.

Polk Today requested a report on the incident, and one wasn’t available yet for release as of this posting.

Information about Hamilton’s charges weren’t immediately available, but PCPD did note on their post that he was being sought for escape from the Department of Corrections in Indiana.

Causey – whose full address wasn’t listed on the booking information – remained in the Polk County Jail without bond set on the single felony charge of hindering apprehension or punishment of criminal.

Hey Alexa, play “Without Me” by Eminem, 24s – 40s.

We want to cordially apologize from the deepest parts of our being for not posting. We know that you guys were loyal followers to our page, and were asking “where we been” 😂. It’s just been busy lately, and thinking of posts can be difficult when you’re running around like a chicken with your head cut off 😂.

Last night at 21:30, Sergeant Winkles’ Shift received a tip that Bradley Hamilton (27 year old male, Indiana) was at a residence on Russell Street (Cedartown) with a female named Brittany. Now you may be wondering, what’s wrong with this? A man can’t chill with a girl these days? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Weeeeeelllllllllll, the only problem is that Bradley had escaped from the Department of Corrections in Indiana, and was on the run like Frank Abagnale in Catch me if You Can. Bradley & Brittany Causey (24 year old female, Indiana) were located in the residence, and taken into custody without incident. 🙌🏻

Apparently the dynamic duo was going to catch another bus to exit Cedartown on today’s date before their plans were interrupted by the meddling kids of B Shift 🙃

Mr. Hamilton was only charged with his warrant out of Indiana.

Ms. Causey was charged with Hindering the Apprehension of a Felon (F).

The Cedartown Police Department assisted in this warrant execution 🫡.

Oh, and here’s Bradley receiving his complementary photo shoot at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, courtesy of us ✨
