Mr. Paul Holbrook

Mr. Paul Holbrook, age 56, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Friday evening, May 12, 2023.

Paul was born in Chattanooga, TN on July 22, 1966, son of Linda Campbell and the late Leonard Paul Holbrook, Sr.

Paul lived his childhood years in Adairsville, GA, where he was a 1984 graduate of Adairsville High School. He then moved to Polk County, where he lived his adult life. Paul was employed with Cintas for 27 years as a Sales and Service Representative.

He was a member of Atlanta West Pentecostal Church. Paul was the Pastor of Abundant Life Apostolic Church for 10 years. He previously served as Youth President of the Assemblies of The Lord Jesus Christ Georgia District.

Paul was an avid outdoorsman who had a love for hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and boating. He could be found most weekends grilling for his family.

Paul was a lover of sports and was a football official with GHSA for 20 years. He was a former coach of baseball, softball, and football. He touched many lives of those he coached through the years.

He had no greater joy than being with his family, including his fur babies Lucy, Ella, and Norah, and he especially took pride in being Big Daddy to his grandchildren. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Stacey Womack Holbrook, to whom he married on February 8, 1986; three children, Jason Dunn and his wife Derrika, Tempest Hardigree and her husband, Joseph, and Tiffani Holbrook; four grandchildren, Lachlan, Annabel, Emory, and Briggs; mother, Linda Campbell; three sisters, Sherrie Holbrook, Karin Stewart, and Jennifer Stroup; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Holbrook will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Johns officiating. Eulogies will be given by Mr. Jason Dunn and Mr. Joseph Hardigree. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be the following: William Baldwin, Ricky Bratcher, Johnny Hames, Scott Landers, Tom Moody, T.J. Stroup, Brian Williams, David Yarborough.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
