On Monday February 13, 2023, Pattie Lynn Cordle, 54 entered into eternal peace after courageously battling cancer. Born on March 13, 1968, she was the daughter of the late Billy John Cordle and the late Mary Elizabeth Patterson.
In addition to her parents, Pattie will also be reunited in heaven with her father-in-law Jam L Rogers. She is survived by her loving husband, Carey James Rogers, Sr, her sons, Cotey Coker, Brandon Rogers, Shane Coker, Carey Rogers, Jr, Jared Rogers, and Chantz Rogers. Pattie also leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Andrew Coker, Dylan Rogers, Rowon Coker, Bralyn Jones, Alyssa Rogers, and River Rogers, as well as her brothers Sammy Cordle, Jimmy Cordle, and Johnny Cordle, II, and her sisters Lisa Brownlow, Shari Swan, Annette Brow, and Susan Brown.
Pattie unconditionally adored her grandchildren. They were the highlight of her life and she always looked forward to spending time with them. Throughout her brave fight with cancer, she never ceased wanting to see her grandchildren.
Though any time she could spend with her grandchildren was her favorite time, Pattie was an also avid reader, and thoroughly enjoyed working puzzles nearly as much as beloved books. She loved nothing more than reading a good book and devouring egg drop soup from her favorite Chinese restaurant.
Pattie’s family understood the battle she was up against, and they know she fought the good fight, still, it is hard to not have her near. They find wonderful comfort in knowing that she no longer feels any pain because she has made it home to be with her heavenly father.
The family has chosen cremation and will give details about services to be held for Pattie at a later date.
