Mrs. Patricia Ann Blankenship Baxter, age 81, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Thursday morning, November 11, 2021.
She was born on December 3, 1939 in Newport, Kentucky the daughter of the late Ray Blankenship and the late Loyce Law Blankenship.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Nick Blankenship, a son, Gary Welzenbacher and a grandson, Matthew Southern.
Patricia loved people and loved being around others. After retiring from Moore Business Forms, she enjoyed traveling to different places, especially to warm climates and the ocean. She also loved shopping. All anyone had to say was, ” Do you want to go shopping”, and she was ready.
Knowing that prayer was the key to all answers, she loved the prayer time she spent with her “Sister Chicks”.
Patricia Baxter is survived by her husband of thirty-one years, Jerry Baxter; son, Dieter Welzenbacher, her daughter; Judy Welzenbacher and Julia Hartmann, brother, Terry Blankenship and Sandy, step son, Brad Baxter and Sheri, step daughter, Sabrina Southern and Craig, granddaughter, Sarah Southern, as well as a number of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
In keeping with Mrs. Baxter’s wishes, she was cremated.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for the spring of 2022.
