Local youth got to enjoy the fun with their imagination going up and above the globe during the Rockmart Cultural Arts Center’s final summer camp for kids wrapped up this week with 2 Space Art Camps.

The RCAC held camps in June and July – including two popular and well-received theater camps – that in total provided children opportunities in 8 different areas of art to enjoy some summertime creativity.

“We offer up many thanks this year to the City of Rockmart and our patrons for helping to make these camps a success for all of our youth,” the RCAC sent along to Polk Today. “Thanks especially to Eby Brown/Coremark for all of the snacks they donated for our campers.”

The Rotary Club of Polk County and other organizations also made donations, including art supplies, for the camp this year.

Regular art classes and workshops return on their normal schedule starting back in August.

Check out the RCAC website for the newsletter to keep up with class schedules and more.
