Mrs. Norma Joyce Rutledge Terrell, age 88 of Cedartown passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021.
Norma was born December 17, 1932 in Cedartown to the late John F. Rutledge and the late Pearl Pitts Tanner. She was a retired nurse who enjoyed gardening and baking cakes. She was a member of Wimberly Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her stepfather, Elmer W. Tanner; stepmother, N. C. Rutledge; sister, Jeannette Smith; brother in law, Tommy Pilgrim and the love of her life, James D. Terrell.
Survivors include her daughter, Shelia Richards; sons: Michael Rutledge and Lynn Gilliam; grandchildren: Lathe Poole and Brandon Rutledge; sister, Sue Pilgrim along with nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held Monday, December 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Polk Memory Gardens with Brother Marty Smith and Brother Robert Wright officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations to be to the charity of your choice.
