Mrs. Nancy Saxon of Cedartown, GA. passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022. Mrs. Saxon was born April 24, 1961 to the late Virgil (Popeye) and Vera Corley. Nancy loved to decorate, the beach and Alabama football but, she adored her grandchildren more than anything. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She married Mr. Ronnie Saxon January 6, 2021.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her brothers Tommy Clay and Dicky Corley.
Surviving Nancy is her husband Ronnie Saxon; Children Josh Thompson and Justin Thompson (Brandi); her siblings Mickey Corley (Kathy), Ricky Corley, Shirley Ann Norton and Linda Wood (Clifton); grandchildren Waylon, Molly and Maddie.
A visitation for Mrs. Saxon will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from eleven o’clock until one o’clock at the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at New Prospect Baptist Church located at 1893 Booger Hollow Rd. Lindale, Ga 30147 following the visitation with Rev. Arron Little officiating.
The following will serve as pallbearers: Barry Cambron, Tim Ramirez, Mickey Corley, Timmy Wood, Doug Corley and Don Potsiadlo and honorary pallbearer Guy Chandler.
