Myrtice Robinson

Mrs. Myrtice Gentry Robinson, age 82, of Aragon, GA, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022.

Mrs. Robinson was born in Taylorsville, GA, on January 4, 1940, daughter of the late Stanley Gentry and Sally Louise Welchel Gentry.

Although she had held various jobs in her life, her main job was housewife, homemaker and taking care of her family. Mrs. Robinson enjoyed watching the Game Show Network, various television evangelists, traveling, and loved following the Primitive Quartet.

She met her husband, Rev. Earl Dean Robinson in Taylorsville and they married on February 2, 1957. Mrs. Robinson was of the Baptist Faith and cherished the time she got to spend with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by a son, Earl “Tony” Robinson, a grandson, Corey Wayne Godfrey, and five brothers, Eldon, Harold, Howard, Jesse, and Elmer Gentry.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by her loving husband, Rev. Earl Dean Robinson; children, Charlotte (Mike) Godfrey of Rockmart, GA, Curtis (Pam) Robinson of Aragon, Tammy (Mike) Wilson of Aragon, and Kevin (Stephine) Robinson of Aragon; ten grandchildren, Brent Robinson, Craig Godfrey, Amanda Robinson, Kyle Robinson, Kayli Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Hunter Forsyth, Amy Cantrell, Alicia McElwee, and Anna Anderson. Ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Robinson will be Monday, December 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Wigley officiating. Interment will follow in Mt Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Robinson’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.

Pallbearers will include Matthew Wilson, Brent Robinson, Hunter Robinson, Kyle Robinson, Hunter Forsyth, and Lee Forsyth.

Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for the funeral of Mrs. Myrtice Gentry Robinson.
