Ms. Marilyn Mullinax Mobbs, age 71, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020. She was born on October 31, 1948 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Harvey Preston and Virginia Lee Nichols Mullinax.
Ms. Mobbs is survived by her daughters, Shannon McGee (Brian) and Sheree Marlowe (Hayden); sons, Phil Bedford (Kara) and Clay Mobbs (Erin); sister, Susan O’Neal (Danny); brother, Don Mullinax (Cindy); grandchildren, Eric, Hayden, Kayci, Hunter, Austin, Brandon, Blair, Luke, Carter, and Jett; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Mobbs is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Linda Angel.
A private family service will be held for Ms. Mobbs’s immediate family at Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church; afterwards, a public graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at three o’clock in the afternoon at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Ed Dickens officiating.
Ms. Mobbs’ nephews will serve as pallbearers: John Angel, Pat O’Neal, Jason O’Neal, Drew Mullinax, Phillip Broome, Stephen Bottoms, Jay O’Neal, and Patrick O’Neal.
The family of Ms. Mobbs has respectfully requested that flowers are to be omitted; however, memorial donations can be made to the Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church, 15 Booger Hollow Road, Cedartown, GA 30125.
