Mrs. Cleo Holden McElwee, age 96 of Canton, Georgia and formally of Cedartown, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from complications with pneumonia.

Mrs. McElwee was born February 27, 1924 to the late Judd and Hattie Jane Holden. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward McElwee who proudly served on the Cedartown Police force for over 20 years and her brother and sisters.

Surviving are her sons Douglas Clark and wife Debbie Clark, Roger Clark and wife Dianne Brown Clark. Her Daughters Helen Whitlock wife of the late Larry Whitlock, Glenda Clarke and in memory of Patsy Gentry and husband Tommy Gentry. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Wilson Whitlock and wife Robin Whitlock, Stephanie Stiers and husband David Stiers, Chad  Gentry and wife Ashlee Gentry, Tim Whitlock, Jennifer Sexton and  husband Bryan Sexton, Keeley Kooken and husband Wayne Kooken and Lynette Clark and Husband Cameron Smith. She is also survived by her 12 Great Grandchildren.

The funeral services for Mrs. McElwee will be Friday January 8, 2021 at 2 P.M. at the Litesey Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Whitlock officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 P.M. until the funeral hour. The interment will be at the North view Cemetery.

The following Gentlemen will server as pallbearers for Mrs. McElwee, Wilson Whitlock, David Stires, Chad Gentry, Tim Whitlock, Bryan Sexton, Wayne Kooken and Cameron Smith.
