Mrs. Alice M. Fogus Knight, age 85, of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021. She was born on August 19, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Madeline Bennett Fogus.
Mrs. Knight is survived by her husband of sixty five years, W.J. “Willie” Knight; sons and daughters-in-law, Stan and Jan Knight, Ricky and Gail Knight and Darren and Hillari Knight; grandchildren, Latricia Taylor, Xander Knight, Stefanie Wilkin, Zane Knight, Andrea Tillman and Shanna Witt; great-grandchildren, Logan Wilkin, Kolin Witt, Liam Wilkin, Jazzy Taylor, Luke Witt, Awna Taylor and Kayleigh Wright; sisters, Netsy Richardson and Reta Townsley; brothers, H.K. Fogus, Steve Fogus and Gary Fogus and forty four nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Knight is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Freeda Monday and brothers, Kenneth Fogus, Donnie Fogus and Connie Fogus.
The funeral service for Mrs. Alice M. Fogus Knight will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at three o’clock in the afternoon from the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens with Rev. Bill Heaton officiating.
The family of Mrs. Knight will receive family and friends on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from one o’clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Tony Taylor, Mark Wilkin, Geoff Fogus, Matt Tillman, Mike Rutledge and Xander Knight.
Flowers are being accepted, however memorial donations can be made to the Second Baptist Church of Cedartown Building Fund in honor of Mrs. Knight.
