Mr. William S. Brandon, IV, age 34, of Taylorsville, GA passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Rome, GA.
He was born in Marietta, GA on July 9, 1986 a son of William S. Brandon, Sr. and Rosemary Siy Brandon. He had been a resident of Taylorsville the greater part of his life and was a member of the Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church. William enjoyed motorcycles and mechanic work. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 2007 to 2010 in Germany and Iraq. Prior to becoming disabled he was a truck driver for Swift Transportation.
Survivors include his parents William S.”Bill” Brandon, Sr. and Rosemary S. Brandon, Taylorsville; two brothers: Duke Masters Brandon and Jake Samson Brandon both of Chattanooga, TN; maternal grandmother, Rosana Tan, Manila, Philippines; and Godfather, Steve Harris, Taylorsville.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Honor Guard of Brown-Wright Post # 12 of the American Legion.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon until the service at the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines are to be applied and masks are recommended.
