Mr. Kenneth T. Brookshire Sr. age 81, of Jonesboro, Georgia and formerly of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.
Mr. Brookshire was born April 14, 1939 in Calhoun Georgia to the late Leonard Toy & Geraldine Gray Brookshire. Mr. Brookshire was also preceded in death by has wife Eleanor Yvonne Landrum Brookshire. Mr. Brookshire was in the United States Air Force in the 1950’s and came out to go to work for the FFA as a air traffic controller.
Surviving are Son & Daughter in law Kenny & Grace Brookshire, Sisters Greta Hayes and Patricia Brookshire, Grandchildren Alyssa Brookshire and Max Brookshire, and a number of nieces & Nephews also surviving.
Funeral services for Kenneth T. Brookshire will be held Saturday July 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside at the New Harmony Cemetery with Rev. Mark Powell officiating. A Memorial service and visitation will be held at his church Friday July 24 , 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Southpoint Fellowship in Locust Grove Georgia.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Brookshire, Kenny Werthington, Gage Johnson, Mike Lindsey, B.J. Landrum & Lark Hayes.
