Mrs. Lois Miriam Adams Wells

Mrs. Lois Miriam Adams Wells, age 87 of Rome, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.

She was born on April 12, 1936 in Cedartown, she was the daughter of the late Verbon T. and Estoria M. Day Adams.

Mrs. Wells is survived by her daughters, Tammy Overstreet (Chris) and Jeannie McCulley; brother, Hoyt Adams (Doris); grandchildren, Teanna Cannon (Sam), Stacie Overbey, and Thomas Overbey; great-grandchildren, Seth Kinard, Avery Kinard, Ashley Gibbs (Joseph), Dylan Kinard, Hayden Cannon, Tyson Cannon, Haley Cannon, Bryson Cannon, Estoria Carrier, Devlyn Jackson, Christopher Overbey, Winter Overbey, Haley Price, Cassandra Rogers, Cheyenne Overbey, Terry Overbey and Rhiannon Overbey; great-great-grandchildren, Callie Gibbs, Jaxon Gibbs, and Serenity Chance; and nieces and nephew, Brenda Herb, Denise Adams Cline, Von Dixon, and Danny Ray Jarrell.

Mrs. Wells is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James M. Wells; and brother, Edward “Eddie” Adams.

The funeral service for Mrs. Wells will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at two o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Brother George Lankford, Brother Howard Long and Brother Andrew Lyles officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Wells will receive family and friends on Friday, September 29, 2023 from twelve o’clock in the afternoon until the funeral service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Avery Kinard, Dylan Kinard, Seth Kinard, Devlyn Jackson, Tyson Cannon, and Bryson Cannon.
