An event for the community held on Tuesday ended with a bang despite wet weather getting in the way on Independence Day.
The party went on through the afternoon and evening despite wet weather and ended with fireworks at American Dream Convenience on North Main Street in Cedartown.
A crowd gathered around the area as well in any available parking space around dark to watch the fireworks show put on by owners of the store.
