Homespun has come and gone in Rockmart, and boy was there a lot to do during a day of fun for the return of the party in downtown. From a morning run, parade and vendors to a rocking concert from a hometown star and drone show, there was a bit of everything going on with this year’s event.

First up, the 5K results from the 3rd annual Running of the Paws 5K in downtown:

Clay Fuller took the top spot overall with a time of 18:51. The Bremen native was followed by Nate Rives of Cartersville with a time of 19:32, and Josh Andrews of Aragon with a time of 19:54.

Top Female finishers were Sydney Burris with a time of 21:17, followed by Jordan Hathaway of Cartersville with a time of 22:54 and Marisol Odom of Dallas with a time of 23:02.
