Mr. Glenn Martin Hindman, age 52, of Aragon, GA, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023.
Glenn was born in Rome, GA on August 20, 1971, a son of the late Kenneth Hindman and Doris Inez Smith Hindman. Glenn lived in Taylorsville the greater part of his life and he was of the Baptist faith.
He enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, golfing, UGA Football, and was an avid outdoorsman.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Sheila Pope Hindman of Aragon to whom he married on May 12, 1990; three children, Christopher Glenn Hindman of Rockmart, Brandon Harvey Hindman of Aragon, and Katlyn Roni McGinnis of Aragon; brother, William “Monk” Hindman and his wife Kelly of Silver Creek; uncle, Harvey “Snook” Smith of Taylorsville; several uncles, aunts, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 4:00 pm at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Rev. Brent Edwards officiating and Brother Billy Ward delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Brian Smith, Kenneth Smith, Kenneth Costlow, Scotty Smith, David Richards, and William Hindman.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Hindman will lie instate at the church on Thursday from 3:00 pm until the funeral hour.
