Youth will be taking the stage this Friday as part of the 2023 Theater camps for the Rockmart Cultural Arts Center, and those who want to sing along with “Prince Ali, fabulous he!” can get tickets for the stage performances.
Those interested in watching can head to the Rockmart Theatre on Friday, June 9 for either a 3 p.m. or 6 p.m. performance. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children.
The camp began last week on May 31 and continues through this Friday for local youth, ending when they take to the stage. The show this year is directed by Margaret Jacobs.
After this week’s theater camp wraps up for Aladdin Jr., the RCAC will next be hosting the second camp for a performance of “Guys and Dolls.”
Those performances are scheduled for June 23 and June 24.
The plays are presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
